SPECKMANCharles Frederick V. 1897 - 30/09/1917 Vincent, second son of the late Charles and Rose Speckman (nee Chadwick) formerly of Stockton-on-Tees. Private Speckman served with the 1st/4th Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment (regimental service number 200692). He was killed in action on 30th September 1917 and is buried in Guemappe British Cemetery, Wancourt, Monchy-le-Preux, Arras, France. Maternal Uncle of Mummy, the late Rita Girvan (nee Speckman).
