She taught me English in the late 1960s and early 1970s. She was so very caring and helped me immensely. I have thought of her often. A very sad loss, and condolences to her immediate family. William Maxwell, Sydney, Australia.

I am so sad to hear of Mrs Snowdon passing. I think of her often. She was my teacher in the early 80’s. So caring and compassionate. She listened. She pointed me in the right direction. When they talk about ‘influencers’ now, she was mine. Your star will shine xxx

Jennifer & I went to school together at Scunthorpe Grammar School. We were best friends throughout our 5 years there. Jennifer went on to teach and went on to train as a nurse. I have very happy memories of weekends at South street Roxby with Jennifer and her sister Rosemary.
Rest in peace Jen xxxx
