The obituary notice of Anne Sheila SMITHERS

Only just saw this as I'm living and working out of the UK and I'm very sad to learn that Anne passed away a while ago. I met Anne through Stan (her husband) when I worked at the Rochdale Chamber of Commerce, The Esplanade in Rochdale quite a few years ago now. I would meet Anne and Stan in Rochdale some week nights for an odd drink in the evenings and Anne was such a beautiful warm strong person. I loved the times we all spent talking about life, our own lives, jobs, people and everything else under the sun. Out of all of my working life in the UK, Anne was the one very special friend who I have always respected and who held a very special place in my heart. Bless you and rest in peace Anne.
