Uncle John, you truly were the best. One of the most kindest, caring, funniest people I have known. Forever the joker, playing the same trick on me as a child which I fell for every time. Every family party, you would be there playing your jokes, entertaining the kids. I have lots of wonderful happy memories growing up, our family holiday in the caravan in Wales, going to many Liverpool matches, buying me the best Fish & Chips I’ve ever had, visiting Telford searching for information for our family tree and the time we all got a bit tipsy in Rome. Uncle John always had a story or a joke to tell. We will miss you so much Uncle John. Love you always Lynn, Philip and Francis

The world has lost one of the good ones, A cracking brother and time spent with him was cherished and enjoyed. You had a positive impact on the people you came into contact with and thankfully that was many. Your stories and humour will not be forgotten, they will live on through your vast family. From Monty Phyton to Red Dwarf every time we quote these your memories will come flooding back. I love you John and always will.

John was an incredible grandad to his granddaughters & grandson who he absolutely adored. He had a smile that could brighten anybody’s day and who would make you feel good with his warm words and praise. What we will remember most is his kindness. He had the ability to make everyone feel loved. John you will be truly missed by us all. We love you so much.
Robert Naomi & your three grandchildren.
