Rev Canon JosephSMITHWe are sad to announce the death of Canon Joseph Anthony Smith, died peacefully in hospital on 25th January 2024 aged 85 years. Much loved son of the late John and Mary, brother of the late Bernadette and brother-in-law of the late Keith Haywood, uncle to Stephen, Elizabeth, David and Suzannah, great uncle to Joseph, Dominique, Matthew, Harrison, Jake, George, Charlie, Evangeline, Harry and Jack, a devoted cousin and friend to many.
Reception in to St Patrick's Church, New North Road, Huddersfield on Thursday evening 29th February at 6.30pm for Requiem Mass on Friday 1st March at 11am followed by cremation at Huddersfield Crematorium at 1.15pm. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation and meet at the church.
Family flowers only please by request, donations in lieu if so desired to St John's Hospice, Lancaster for which a donation box will be available at the church and crematorium.
