ElizabethSKILLINGSMrs Elizabeth Skillings, of Scarfoot Farm, Crawshawbooth passed away at Blackburn Hospital on Saturday, May 30, aged 86. Elizabeth spent most of her married life running the family farm with her late husband John, delivering milk around the Valley for 40 years. In later life she enjoyed her time surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was a keen knitter and enjoyed reading and baking and especially her days out. She was a member of Rossendale Lady Farmers. Wife of the late John, she was mother to Janet, Roger and Sheila, grandmother to Craig, John, Heather, Rachel, Laura, Liam, Rebecca, Katie and Morgan, and great-grandmother to 11. She was also sister to Margaret. The funeral left Scarfoot Farm and took place on Wednesday, June 10, led by Rev. Derek Allen, at Rawtenstall Cemetery.
