We will remember Derek with fond and happy memories. We met them on holiday in Ibiza and remained friends throughout the 70s. He owned a well know driving school and taught my Wife to drive. It was sad that we lost touch, after a life change, but will always remember the good times.
Rest in peace my friend

I was fortunate to meet Derek and his lovely family as I am a volunteer at Teesside Hospice. What an absolute gentleman Derek was he would often stop at reception for a chat he had sparkle in his eyes and a cheeky smile, you will be sadly missed by everyone who knew you.
Will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Sleep tight rest in peace Derek.
Lots of love Dawn xx
