I met David way back in 1989 at Rookwood Hospital. We struck up a friendship that lasted many years, as we both had life changing experiences.
David was a kind hearted chap and a real deep thinker. His animation skills, along with his endless patience were admirable. His short film, Space Truck, was proof of his talent, skills and tenacity, all rolled into one!
I do hope he is at peace now. We will miss him.

Mike, Caroline, Steph and Alex.

So sad about David's passing. Spent many happy christmases together with many laughs. Also had a great holiday in Biarritz with David, Marie-Claude and Inder. Dave was a long time friend and such a talented man. We'll miss him.

I have very fond memories of growing up with my lovely brother Rahul. As children in India we moved from place to place quite frequently because dad was an Indian Army officer, so he was posted all over the country. Our mum Kate was an actress in her 20s and appeared in a couple of early Bollywood movies in the 1950s.
Soon after arrival in Swansea, Rahul developed a keen interest in photography, modelmaking and film-making and it was a joy to see his artistic talent gradually developing, until he was able to make a living doing the creative activity that he enjoyed most.
As an adult Rahul decided to go by his middle name David.
I have lovely memories of our trips to France with David and my husband Roger. We would drive down to Biarritz in the south to visit my dad Inder and step-mother Marie-Claude and we would drive all around the Pyrenees sight-seeing in France and Spain.
David was a very friendly and modest person, with an independent nature. We both love and miss him so much.
