Last night you came to see me when the darkness had no light, you stepped into my room and I felt your spirit bright.
You told me you were happy and removed of earthly pain, you said I must believe, that our paths would cross again.
You told me you were proud of the life I carry on, you said you're keeping close, so I'll never be alone.
Last night you came to see me and when morning came around, I knew I wasn't dreaming, by your feather on the ground.
Sometimes I start to worry I might forget your face and memories I've kept inside, might somehow get erased, and then I just remind myself, that love can never die, our hearts were knotted together, forever you and I.
