Barbara BedfordSCHOFIELDIt is with deepest sadness to announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Barbara Bedford Schofield (nee Rhodes) with family by her side on the 13th of April 2025 aged 77 years.

Loving Wife to Graham, Husband of 48 years, loving Mum to Sarah and John and proud and loving Nana to Shola, Tunde and Lara.

Loved and will be missed by all.

Funeral to be held Thursday the 8th of May at Whitley Bay Crematorium at 1.30pm.

My Friend and x next door neigbour in Whitley Bay. Beautiful person Inside and out gorgeous smile Heart of Gold. So Cheerful and her energy was amazing. Best Neigbour and friend I never asked for but Lucky that she came into my life. And supported me when going through the Loss of my Bob. Rest in Peace. And Love you More for Ever xxx

Every weekend I spent time with Aunty Barbara, and I only have fond memories. Probably the most unintentionally hilarious person I have met. Always happy and smiling with contagious energy. We need more barbaras in the world.
