I have known David since 1960 because I also lived up water. we used to go out together more or less every Saturday night to different pubs in the Rawtenstall area to play pool.
He was a bit of a Character. In his own way,
If you needed help with anything and he was around he would jump in so to speak and give you a hand. he had a funny side to his Nature
We was in water one day and David and was going to jump across this stream in the park, when this girl arrived who wanted to try well David and me jumped across no problem
Then it was the girl turn well she managed to reach the other side just about but lost her balance and fell backwards into the water I have never heard David laugh so much but it was so funny I even laughed abit myself. He was a great guy to have known for so long
Will miss his witty ways my true Condolences to all his family R.I.P my friend
