Julie ElizabethSAUNDERSJulie aged 65 years of Macclesfield, unexpectedly passed away in hospital on Saturday 10th August 2024. Dearly loved daughter of Ann, much loved partner of Mark, devoted mum of Kelly and loving nan of Scotty, Chloe, Jake, Leon, Darcy and Archie.
Julie enjoyed her work as a Steward for Manchester United Football Club and Macclesfield Football Club and was a well respected Scout Leader, she was also involved with Beavers, Squirrels and MaccPride. She will be greatly missed by all her family, many friends and work colleagues.

The funeral will take place on Friday 6th September 2024 with a Celebration of her Life at Macclesfield Crematorium at 12.15pm. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent for Windyways Trust.

Julie worked with me at Old Trafford as a Safety Steward Supervisor on North Tier 1.
Julie was so well thought of by both the Stewards who worked for her & the fans in that area who knew that she could be relied on to help them if necessary.

I always knew that Julie would be a great Supervisor & a massive asset to Manchester United.

On some evening matches, Julie spent the night in a local hotel as there was no way she could get back to Macc.

Julie must have spent more than she earned, but didn't want to let me down.

That really sums up her passion & commitment to the Club.

Julie...you will be missed.
