Thomas Alvey 'Tom'SANDERSONSANDERSON Thomas Alvey 'Tom' On 1st October 2024 aged 48 years.

Loving son of Jane and Christopher (deceased), much loved brother of Nick and David and brother in law of Terry and Lisa. Cherished uncle to his six nephews and nieces.

Family funeral service and interment to be held at Carleton Cemetery, Blackpool FY6 7QS on Thursday 7th November.

A Celebration of Tom's life will be held at St Stephen's Church Prenton CH42 8LA on Friday 8th November at 11.30am.

Family flowers only please, donations would be appreciated and can be made directly to BBC Children in Need.

I was so shocked and sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I taught at Bacon's College with him. He was a kind, gentle person with beautiful smile and disposition, and also fun. I never heard him raise his voice to anyone. The students adored him.

Feels special that I had the faith to employ you with TP and JF and that Alex and I were able to bring you back later . A pleasure to work with you on our pretty stable geography department . Pleasure to play football and drink with you . If only I could have helped one more time 😔
