BarbaraSAMSON (JONES/PALMER/COLE)In loving memory of Barbara Rosalie SAMSON 7th July 1939 to 11th December 2019. Born and bred in Bath, Somerset, Barbara lived in the beautiful West Country where she married twice and had three children (Sandra, Neil and Victoria). Barbara then moved to Burnham, Buckinghamshire in 1988 and resided there happily with Alan, her beloved husband. They married in 1994 and Barbara became step-mum to Keren and Gerard. Alan and Barbara lived in Burnham for over 30 years. Sadly, Barbara was widowed in July 2017 when Alan passed away. He was deeply mourned and missed by all the family. In December 2019, Barbara died peacefully at her home after an illness so bravely borne. The date of her passing was 11th December - Alan's birthday. Barbara was a widow, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. But, above all this, she was truly wonderful. A life force with compassion, energy and a wry, witty sense of humour. She is much loved and sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. The world is not the same without her, but it's all the better for her having been here. This tribute page is a lasting memory to Barbara's life (it is maintained by one of her daughters) and can be visited by all to leave some love, a message, light a candle or share a photo or memory now and again. God Bless Mum, we love you. We miss you. Barbara's Obituary - funeral-notices.co.uk/notice/SAMSON/4790496 Barbara's 1st In Memoriam - funeral-notices.co.uk/notice/SAMSON/4900119

Mum - around this time of year, I miss you so much. It would've been your 85th Birthday and even though it's been nearly five years since you left us, the days without you are so tricky. I miss my champion, my critic and my friend. Life goes on and gratefully so, but boy, do we all still miss you. Happy Heavenly, Mum xx

On this special day of the year, I think especially of Mum. She loved Mothering Sunday, the cards and the box or two of favourite chocolates - plus all the beautiful spring flowers, many of which were her favourites. I see the daffodils and think of her. The daisies, the snowdrops, hyacinths and more. All flowers remind me of Mum. That doesn't make me sad, it makes me happy, feel loved and smile. It helps me recall good times and laughter. My love for her is with me every day but today? I remember all the more. Happy Mothering Sunday.
Beloved and missed always xx

Three years on and I miss you always, Mum. You were the strength, the light and the reason for so much love and laughter in our lives. But we keep on going and remembering you all the way. Blessed in our memories and in our hearts.
Forever, Vickie xx

This will seem strange to many but I 'felt' Mum around today. She was definitely foremost in my mind at the time but a string of weird coincidences occurred that made me wonder and gave me a heavenly hug! Mum was always there when we needed her ❤ 🕊🙏🏻 So loved, so missed, remembered always xxx
