Dear Grandad. I really adored you. For your humour, your kindness and happiness found in the simplest moments. Never has anybody been so happy to eat honey with porridge in the morning, be in the garden growing a rose, play the piano and of course win the premium bonds. You were simply just a wonderful man and I don’t think that they make people like you anymore. I am honoured to have known you and I will miss you every day. I count my blessings that I get to see snippets of you still through your lovely daughter and shadow, who reminds me of you in the loveliest moments. Hasta la proxima Señor Xxxx

I am saddened to hear you have left us. I only knew you for a few years In that time we attempted many garden projects from solar panels to cat prevention (unsuccessful) You possessed a wealth o gardening knowledge a lot which now lives in me. Doug, I enjoyed our time together. It was a privilege to know you. RIP Steve
