DavidRUDKINDavid passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on 27th December 2023, aged 59 years. Devoted Husband to Maggie. Dearly loved Father to Alice and Noah. Loving Son to Marie. Also a dear Brother, Brother in law and Uncle. Funeral Service to take place at St Paul's Church, West Derby on Wednesday, 24th January 2024 at 1pm, followed by Cremation at Springwood Crematorium - Rosemary Chapel at 2.30pm. Family flowers only please. Good Night, God Bless X

Aled Owen & myself (John Fox) played football with Dave for many years st Hillfoot Hey Old Boys' F.C. and later at Cardinal Newman F.C. Dave was an outstanding sportsman and a brilliant footballer (Aled Owen always had him in his top 10 players of all time alongside Pele and Kevin Keegan!). Dave's dad, Arthur, would often come to watch our games on Saturday afternoons. Arthur was very knowledgeable about football and obviously very proud of his son.
Dave was extremely humble about his footballing talents. A wonderful friend and always a joy to be with.

Aled and I were shocked and deeply saddened to hear about Dave's
death. We were not aware of this until recently otherwise we would have attended the funeral.

Our deepest sympathy to Maggie and all the family.
