MargaretROSEPeacefully at her home on Thursday, October 29, aged 81, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s over many years, Margaret, of Clayton-le-Moors. The devoted wife of the late Brian, the loving mother of Angela, Steven and Kathy, cherished grandma of Marina, Richard, David, Amanda and Ryan. There was no one like mum, she will be sadly missed by all. Margaret loved to talk and during her school years she was known as Maggie Yap by her teachers. Following her school years Margaret began working for the National Coalboard as an office clerk. Following meeting her husband and having her family she became a full time mum devoting herself to the care of her children. She enjoyed bingo and always looked forward to a trip to the bingo hall. A favourite time in her life was when she moved to live in her static caravan at Blackpool where she stayed until her mid seventies. Donations are being received in memory of Margaret on behalf of Alzheimer’s Society. Due to current restrictions a privatefamily funeral service will be held.
