JimmyROGERSA memorial service for Jimmy Rogers, who passed away in 2020, will be held on Tuesday August 30th at 12pm at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, Twig Lane, Roby. After the memorial service, Jimmy's family will host a celebration of his life at the St. Aloysius Parish Club.

Your Dad and I were great mates.I remember running in a cross country race in St. Healens. Jimmy won, I came about 67th. When I went away to sea Jimmy always wrote to me, and even after I came to New Zealand we carried on writing to each other for quite a few years. I only have fond memories of your mam and dad, and will treasure them always. Keep safe in this troubled world , all my good wishes to you and your family, Peter Gallagher.
