The obituary notice of Samuel Lawrence ('Lawrie') ROBERTS

My tribute to my big brother "Lawrence " as we always called him.

As a small child I always looked up to my big brother as the fountain of all knowledge.

The adventurous Boy Scout who climbed Mount Snowdon and managed to have a fall. Then had lecture from our father who only learned of it through a colleague who had read about it in the Liverpool Echo.

Then the dashing Naval Officer sailing the high seas with the Cunard Line.

Then came the outdoor life in Canada, until it was time to go back to his roots, living in Maghull with his devoted wife Anne and much loved son Scott.

Rest in peace, big brother.
