Bea and Joseph would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on the recent sad loss of Joe. We would like to thank all family and friends for their support and visits to Joe at the Marie Curie Hospice. To his many friends in the G.A.A. throughout Britain who travelled long distances to be present at St. Augustine's, Solihull, to Fr. Dominic and Fr. Sean who attended to Joe's spiritual needs during his final weeks. Our sincere thanks to Fr. Dominic for his kind words and assistance with the funeral arrangements and to Fr. Sean and Fr. Tim who concelebrated the funeral Mass. Our thanks to Jonathan Walker Funeral Directors who carried out their duties in such a dignified way and prepared Joe for his final resting place. To Con Cunningham for his sincere and heartfelt eulogy. To Richard who sang so beautifully at the Mass and made it so special. To the pall bearers, readers, collectors and guard of honour outside the church, many thanks. To the doctors, nurses and staff of the Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull for the wonderful care and support that Joe received during his final weeks. The collection at the Mass raised ?4,100 which has been donated to the Hospice, many thanks to all for their generous donations. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
