Our Larry was old school, a gentleman and a good family man.
As a strong union man, he had principles and was not one for backing down if the cause was just. 'Stamina' should have been his middle name.
With a great sense of humour. He was so funny as all his mates would tell you
We are going to miss you so much Larry.
God knew you were weary, with the hill so hard to climb
So He put His arms around you and whispered, 'peace be thine'.
Come with me, now you are good to go, but rest and reflect once more on the world you have made better for all those in the know.
The blow was hard, the shock severe to part with one we loved so dear.
From your unselfish kindness and love we take comfort knowing you have left us with so many fond memories. Even now, as you journey forward hand in hand for eternity, now reunited, with your beloved wife Marie.
What did he used to say on those phone calls at the end of the day? "Roger, Over and Out.........."
