Joan MargaretRICHARDSONJoan Margaret Richardson of Sutton Cum Lound. Died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Sunday 19th March 2023, aged 91 years. Devoted wife to the late Geoffrey for 62 years, dearly loved mum to Paul and Sally, mother in law to Debbie and Chris, adored gran to Becky, Daniel, Amy, Harriet and Nick. Peace Perfect Peace. The funeral service is to take place at St Bartholomew's church, Sutton Cum Lound on Monday 3rd April 2023 at 2pm. I had no idea :( I’ve just been to visit my Nan at the Cemetery and always lay a rose at Mr Richardsons side - today noticed the headstone was gone so guessed :( Such a lovely lady was my Brown owl many years ago - have known this lady all my life very fond memories - at last they are back together ♥️♥️

I am sorry to read this. Joan used to teach with my mother, Mavis Newby, at Everton School. She was a lovely lady, and a devoted teacher.
