Hi Granny
Lovely day here today
I was working this morning but now doing a bit of gardening and enjoying the sun
Really lovely out today
Aunty pam was at Loch Awe this week with her friend on a coach trip
A bit too far from here to see her
Pam , Gemma and Leo went to Thailand to see Kev last month
Neil was already there
So they all spent time together
Been on quite a few walks in the mountains which have been nice but chilly
I have a week off at end of April not exactly sure what to do yet
All the tourists have now started coming to the Distillery so getting busy now for the season
We have a cat called Melvo he has killed every mouse here for miles
He won't eat his cat food anymore as his belly is always full
He's a fool
I'm hoping to get back down to poole again in summer to see everyone
Bye for now
Love Jacqueline

Hi Mum, it's early November and the weather is getting a wee bit cold these days.
Mike & I have had a difficult year and there have been so many times when I wished I could have called you for a wee chat and then of course the world would have been a better place. So, we finally moved from Hinckley to Wallingford, something that we have been wanting to do for a long long time. Quite a few issues on the way and a two week stay with Chris & Chloe turned into 7 weeks bless them both but we finally moved last Monday 4th . Unfortunately I had a fall a couple of weeks ago and fractured my wrist. It's very painful and very frustrating not to be able to do normal stuff and I couldn't do much helping with all the unpacking but we had loads of help from Pam & Sam & Hayley and Chris done the whole moving stuff for us so that was all great. Not happy about where the girls have put stuff in my kitchen cupboards ha ha but I will sort all that the minute my wrist has healed. Kevin has gone off to Thailand for the indefinite future and Pam, Gemma & Leo are going out to see him in February, they have booked their tickets. Neil is going out in January. So it will be nice for Kev to see the family. We bought a park home of all things, to be honest it's all we really could afford but it's a few minutes from Wallingford and even though we've only been here a week, I already feel very much at home and so does Mike. There a lot to do but it will all get done bit by bit.
I think that's it mum otherwise I'll end up writing a book !! miss you as always mum, especially your lovely sense of humour, you never failed to have us all laughing. You made the world better mum. xxxx Love Linda

Hi Mum, It's your birthday again and as always it's a beautiful bright sunny day. Mike and I are going to have a bbq today and enjoy the weather as it's not been very good recently, I've been talking to Kevin today, he always makes me laugh . I've been in touch with Jackie recently which has been very nice. She has sent me some lovely photos of where she lives in Scotland. Mike & I have the house up for sale again but it's not looking hopeful at the moment - we just have to keep our fingers crossed that we get a sale sometime soon. Pamela is also thinking about moving but still in Wallingford. It's a nice one bed house right basically near town, it will be lovely for her.Once we do a sale I will be handing in my notice at work, I'm getting too tired of it all and I have too much pain in my hands these days. Mike & I are going to Italy in July, looking forward to that, I've been taking Italian lessons so hopefully I will get the chance to try it out. I think that's it mum, miss you as always, not a day goes by when I don't think of you. Love you as always Mum, miss your humour as always. I've always been in awe of how whatever life threw at you, you always saw the fun side of life and made us all laugh. What a lady you were mum, so proud to be your daughter. xxx Linda

Hi Mum, It's Easter time again , don't know where the time goes. My life is rushing by far too quick and I don't like it. I did go to Thailand with Kev and had a great time, would like to go back if I get the opportunity. Mike isn't too well at the moment, to be honest he's always feeling unwell these days, I'm not sure what to do. He's been told to give up smoking and lose weight but he doesn't listen to doctors or me - I find it quite tough to deal with. We got our house up for sale again but no takers at the moment. I'm still very busy working but I'm getting tired these days and don't think I can keep it up too much longer. Sorry for my moan ! I don't think I mentioned I'm going to Italian classes again, I really enjoy going. It would have been you and dad's wedding anniversary tomorrow. I have never been able to find Dad on here, I don't know why, perhaps a notice was never put in the PA. I can't find one for Alan either but David has one. Miss you as always mum, especially your humour, making us all laugh, what a gift it was to all of us. Love you mum xx Linda
