I didn't know James, but, like my own dad who served in Bomber Command, I would like to record my greatest respect and admiration for him. They both represent the bravery and commitment to fighting Nazism displayed by their generation who experienced first-hand and, at close-quarters, the horrors of WWII. My sincere condolences go to his friends and family.
