Julie was a very well loved and enthusiastic member of both the Thanet u3a Natural History Group and the Geology Group. She knew a lot about these subjects and always wanted to learn more, signing up for courses in person and also on line. I will miss her immensely.

Dear Julie
You have been such a wonderful loyal friend to me. I will never forget your calm presence and your wise thoughtful words. I will forever picture you smiling and hear your wonderful laugh. I will miss you very much. I hope you know what a shining star you have been in so many people's lives.

Dearly loved friend of many.
Julie, I don't think you realised how much you were appreciated, or what a special, caring person you were. Your kindness to others, your thoughtful gifts, your invitations to share trips, outings and exhibitions, your making the most of what Thanet had to offer, with interests as wide and varied as the Speakers club and wildlife groups. You brought people together and delighted in entertaining. I have so much to thank you for, and so sad that now I never can. Rest in Peace. X
