SusanPLUMPTON(née Oliver) Of Llanfairpwll, passed away after a short illness on 22nd December 2024, aged 80 years. Much loved wife of Peter, mother of Catrin and sister of Christine. Susan will be sadly missed by her many friends and family. Family, friends and former colleagues are invited to a service at St. Mary's Church, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll on Friday, January 10th at 11.00am, followed by interment at Menai Bridge Cemetery. Family flowers only but donations in memory of Susan will be gratefully received towards Beaumaris RNLI c/o the funeral director. Sue was my first point of contact when I joined the technical teaching staff at the UCNW Department of Biochemistry and Soil Science as it was back then in 1979. I couldn't have asked for a more helpful and supportive mentor to help me settle in.

Even years later Sue was one person I knew I could go to for a friendly and relaxing chat. And I wasn't the only one who felt like that....

Best wishes to Peter, Catrin, Christine and the family. xxx
