The obituary notice of Lynford St Aubyn PINNOCK

Have known Linford for about 10 years. First playing badminton once or twice a week. He used ot make me laugh .
For the last 8 years we have been the Simple Minds quiz team every Tuesday at the Festival pub, Coventry. Linford rarely missed a quiz. Again, he used to make us laugh . He was very knowledgeable and new a lot of things we didnt but sometimes he would be adament he was right when we knew he wasnt and he used to get very animated. It will never been the same without him( and we wont be winning again)

Lynford was a regular walker on Around 10 group walks where he will be sorely missed. He clocked up thousands of miles with us over the years and with Spice. I will also miss playing golf with him at Stonebridge. He was a key member of the Simple Minds quiz team that competed at the Festival pub every Tuesday, his encyclopedic knowledge of trivia, sport, music, geography, etc always impressed his team mates.
I think I first met him on the badminton court, which he continued playing regularly until he was so sadly taken from us.
