FrankPHILLIPS(West Denton) Peacefully at home with his family on Sunday 4th July 2021 aged 85 years. Beloved husband of Kathleen. Much loved dad of Claire and Kenneth. Dear father in law of Joe and Diane and loving grandad of Oliver, Robert and Sam. Funeral service will be held at West Road Crematorium on Wednesday 14th July at 12.00pm. No flowers by request but donations gratefully received on behalf of Children's Cancer North East (RVI). The family would like to thank the staff of Be Caring for all the help and support given to Frank. All enquiries c/o Clark Pearson Funeral Services, Denton Burn. Tel 0191-2744373.

Grandad always had a smile on his face and a story to tell, no matter how many times he told it he always had the same enthusiasm. He was and is my idol, I will always be thankful that he was my Grandad and gave me so many fond memories.

Remember meeting Frank a few decades back on a visit to the North East. A lovely, warm man with family at his heart. Chatted about Beamish and lots more. My best wishes and condolences to you all. Paul Booth

Forty years ago we met Frank when he ventured across the Atlantic to meet his daughter”s Penpal family. What a wonderful friendship it grew to be over the years as we visited back and forth. Frank & his family became a part of our family. So many fun & good times we have had with him. He will remain in our hearts & memories forever. We already miss you Frank, Ron & Brenda Criswell
