JohnPARKINDied in hospital after a sudden stroke at home on Saturday 11th May 2024 aged 81. He leaves behind the Parkins; Lesley, his wife of 59 years, Lance, Jo, Brie, Eddie, and Reuben, who have inherited an endless supply of anecdotes about a man who was a kind, generous, proud mentor and an instinctive contrarian. The family wishes to extend thanks to the NHS, the ambulance service and Stepping Hill. Service to be held at St George's Poynton at 10am on Friday 24th May followed by a private cremation.
