Passed peacefully to rest with his family by his side on Thursday 7th November 2024 aged 62.
A loving husband to Trisha, father to Samantha, Nathan, Nicola & Matthew and a devoted grandad to Aiden, Isla, Ava, Ollie, Evie, Harvey, Jake, Bethany and Daisy.

Funeral service at Cambridge Crematorium, West Chapel on Friday 29th November at 11:00am.

Family flowers only but donations gratefully accepted please for Arthur Rank Hospice, Shelford.

No dark colours at funeral please, John wanted us to celebrate his life in colour.

After the funeral there will be a celebration of John's life at Bar Hill Sports & Social Club, The Spinney, Bar Hill.

This is incredibly sad news. As everyone has already said John was always a positive person and always ready to help and support. You rarely ever saw John without a smile and he was always a friendly face in the business. John will always be remembered by many as a great colleague and friend.

So very sad to hear of John's passing, I had the privilege of working with John for most of his 40 years here, what a great guy who had such a positive outlook on life and a just "get on with stuff" attitude, he will be sorely missed by us here. Our condolences go out to his family. Graham Moore
