Islwyn ThomasPAGE"Tawel yng nghanol pob tywydd dewr hyd ddiwedd y daith ". Sadly, on March 4th 2021, aged 85, Islwyn passed away at home after a lengthy battle with ill health. Beloved wife Mairwen and devoted daughters Eleri and Delyth beside him. He was a proud 'Taid' of Rhys, Gwen and Lili. Islwyn conducted many singing festivals in the Llynfi Valley. He was one of the founder members, chorister & associate musical director of 'Côr Meibion Maesteg' periodically over almost 35 years. He was Precentor/Arweinydd y Gân at Carmel Bethania Chapel, Maesteg. "Always in our hearts and in our prayers". Service and cremation strictly private. You are welcome to pay respects to Islwyn as he arrives at his home on March 31st. Dear All. Such a lovely man. So many lovely memories. With seeing him walking down the street dressed so smartly for choir and church and always seemed to be in the window when I passed and ALWAYS waved and a big smile. Thinking about you all. Big hugs xxxx
