HarryOGLESBYPassed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home, Thursday 9th January 2025 aged 90 years.

Beloved husband of the late Christine. Loving father to Mark, Martin and daughter-in-law Alison. A devoted grandad to Sami, Jake, Sam and Beth and great grandad to Oliver, Sofia and Noah.

A friend to many, Harry will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew him.

A service for Harry will be held at the East Riding Crematorium, Octon, Tuesday 11th February at 1.30pm this will be by invitation only.

Family flowers only please but any donations may be given as you leave the service for the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund

So sorry to hear about Harry, we used to love waving to him and his wife Chris when walking our kids to Molescroft school, they would also give Easter chocolate to them each year. Such a lovely couple, both are greatly missed , love from the Bishop family xx

We are both very moved and saddened by the sudden loss of Harry. He was a real gentleman and it was a great privilege to have got to know him. We already miss our chats and waves whilst on our daily dogs walks. The local area just doesn't feel the same without him and we have lost a really special guy. Sending all our love to his family. I’m deeply saddened to read this news. Walking my children to school won’t be same without you waving to us. I always enjoyed our little chats and listening to your stories. You will be missed by all the people who would stop and talk to you whilst sat on ‘your bench’ at the top of the road.
