JohnO'CONNOROn 7th April, surrounded with love, John, aged 96 years. Deeply loved husband of the late Betty and a wonderful and gentle father to Francis, Edel, Carmel, Michael and Anne. He was a much loved and respected father in law and an adored grandad and great grandad. John was a man of unwavering faith, deep integrity and great humour. He was steadfast in his beliefs, a man of wisdom, he had great compassion for others and was an advocate for the most vulnerable. He brought so much warmth, laughter and joy into those whose lives he touched and we will be forever grateful to call him ours. Rest in Peace our darling Dad. Reunited with our beautiful Mam. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for him.
Funeral cortège to leave his daughter's home on Friday 25th April for Requiem Mass at 1pm at The Holy Name of Mary Church in Linthorpe, followed by interment at Acklam Cemetery.
All are welcome afterwards at Teesside Golf Club, 89 Acklam Road, Thornaby.
John will be resting at Rose Funeral Service, 11-13 Cumberland Road Middlesbrough TS5 6JB, before being brought home to his family on the evening of Thursday, 24th April.
