RuthNICHOLLRuth died peacefully on 30th September 2019, aged 99 years. Much loved wife of the late Dr. Geoffrey Nicholl, step-mother, aunt, great-aunt and great-grandaunt. There will be a Quaker Meeting for Worship at Lincoln Crematorium on Tuesday 15th October at 1:50pm. No flowers, by request, please but donations, if desired, to Médecins Sans Frontières. Sadly, I was only able to share a friendship with dear Ruth for a few months at Stones Place Residential Home, but during that time her warm, mischievous & humorous charm enriched my life. Her radiant smile lit up the room &, despite her own ill health, her compassion for others even worse off than herself was moving to witness. I regret that I was not able to be of more comfort to her at the close of her generous life.
