LuciaNEWLOVEMRS Lucia Newlove, of Dill Hall Lane, Church, died peacefully at Royal Blackburn Hospital, on Saturday, March 14, aged 93. She was a dinner lady at Hyndburn Park School and also at St Christopher's School. She was a member of the King Street Club where she organised parties and events. In her spare time she enjoyed playing dominoes, cards and holidays. Wife to beloved husband Jimmy, she was mother to Denise, Linda, Sheila, Beverley, Lesley, James, Ian and Alison, a mother-in-law, and leaves many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral service and cremation took place at Accrington Crematorium on Friday, April 3, at 3pm, officiated by Sandra Howles. Donations are requested for Cancer Research.
