Suddenly, but peacefully at home with his devoted wife Joan by his side.
He leaves behind his heartbroken 6 children, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Doug will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral service at Holy Family RC Church, Southport on Tuesday 16th July 2024 at 2:00pm, followed by committal at West Lancashire Crematorium.
Family have requested traditional funeral attire, with a touch of red.
