My beloved dad taken away but never forgotten ❤️ you were one of the best always there for your kids . You were in the southern argyle highlanders . And so proud of your army a remember one day you came home unexpectedly we were going to shops when this man came towards us his kilt swaying !!! Until we realised DAD !!!! you stopped held your arms out for me and Norrie it was a special moment !!! you left the army to work for Talbot Linwood car factory we met you every Friday (wages day) took us to cafe pie & beans & bovril then pkt sweets . Holidays to Scarborough were magical British legion club at night time a sang on stage so did you !! definitely we all got our singing voice from you one holiday you hired a wee (father ted caravan )down near prestwick but the whole Murphy clan arrived it was hilarious only had one room about 28 ppl and the dug (tiny) 😂 a slept in the clapped out silver estate car that had it’s exhaust bound with tape and pair of tights and the noise was so loud off it on motorway but we managed to escape the polis 🙈 nae insurance either!!! those memories will never fade . I am who I am because of you and only you we never had much in the way of money but we were loved the chain is broken but one day it will link up again you rest in peace you were a Legend ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏🏻
