John 'Jack'MOSELEYMOSELEY John 'Jack' It is with great sadness that his family announce the passing of John "Jack" Moseley on 13 September 2024 at home, comfortable in his own bed.
Jack had an affinity for people and made friends wherever he went. This served him in good stead in his army career where he finished as a Sergeant in the North Staffs, serving in Germany, Cyprus, Kenya, Tanzania, Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea.
Once home, Jack worked in several jobs including as an engineer (worked on First Concorde), a bus driver, and a volunteer for Cats Protection. Alongside his day jobs, Jack the musician played in many local clubs during the 70's, and churches in the 80's.
Jack loved to travel, and later in life took many trips to visit family in California, New York, Canada, and Tennessee.
Remembering Jack with love is his wife, Bernetta, and his children Deb, Ian, John, and Paul, his grand-children, his daughter in law, and countless grateful cats.
A service to celebrate Jack's life will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Friday 11th October at 11am.
Donations in lieu of flowers should be made to any cat charity.
