John H.MORGANJournalist Former reporter for the South Wales Voice Newspaper in Ystalyfera, sub-editor on the Evening Post and Western Mail and NUJ Regional Organiser for Wales and the West of England.

Peacefully, but unexpectedly, on August 21st 2024, John H. passed away aged 87.

Loving husband of Bethan, dearest father to his daughters Einir Wyn and Eleri Wyn and a faithful father in law to Stephen and Mark.

He lived in Pontardawe, but his family roots were in the Abercrave and Craig y Nos area, as he was part of the well-known 'Morgan' family.

The funeral and a public service will be held on Saturday September 7th at 12 o'clock at Callwen Church, Pen y Cae, Swansea Valley, SA9 1GR.

Family flowers only.

If you wish, donations in memory of John H. can be made payable to Callwen Church c/o The Reverend Canon Timothy Hewitt, 31 Oakwood Drive, Clydach, Swansea, SA8 4DF.

Sad news, a big brother to my mother and her siblings in so many ways. Great recipient - Callwen for donations. His parents and siblings are buried there.
