It is with great sadness that the family of Martyn David Mooney announce his passing on 28th October 2024. Martyn passed away in the care of the Queens Centre, Castle Hill Hospital with his wife by his side.

A dearly loved son of the late Doris and Peter, cherished husband of Terri, brother of Peter and sister-in-law Wendy, beloved father of Denise and Andrew, step father to Leon, Jamie and Simon and grandfather to Oliver, Hollie, Ellis, Sophie, Lucas, Noah, Jonah, Jay-Jay and Amia. Treasured uncle to Sarah, Vanessa, Sean, Paul, and Heather and a great friend to many. Martyn will be very sadly missed by all who knew him.

The service to celebrate Martyn's life will be held at Calvary Church, Cromwell Road, Willows Estate on Wednesday 20th November 2024 at 2:00pm, followed by a committal at the Grimsby Crematorium at 3:00pm.

All floral tributes welcome or donations may be made in Martyn's memory to WISHH Charity, Castle Hill Hospital www.wishhcharity.org.uk/who-we-are/our-hospitals. (Specifying Queens Centre Donation)

Martyn is resting at Alexanders Funeral Care, Alexander House, 70 Carr Lane, Grimsby, DN32 8JP. 01472 355255.

I didn't know you that long. But I do know that you was a man of god. You also brought alot of lost people back to.god. all the times I met you I saw that you and your beautiful wife were a golden couple.that worked well together you were so good together and no one could ever fault you and your wife terry at the same time you fe ill I was recovering a d both you and terry were such a comfort to me a gold heavenly couple I know that your be in a better place then I am in a peaceful happy place with no more illness pain no more fighting and at home with our king jesus in the kingdom of heaven I send my sympathy to a your family especially terry my door is Always open and I'm.always here for you may you rest in peace martyn goodnight sleep tight
