John Richard HandleyMILLINGTON M.B.E.Passed away peacefully on the 11th January 2025, aged 93 years. Husband of the late Joan Millington. Father to Elly, Anne and Pete.

Funeral service will take place at Cheltenham Crematorium Willow Chapel on Tuesday 11th February at 11.30am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Sue Ryder Leckhampton Hospice.

For many years John was a wonderful friend to many at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice. He worked with Lady Sue Ryder to restore the property, at the time of purchase, and he gave his time and energy to help it develop into the hospice we know today. I personally appreciated his friendship and I am thankful for all of the history he imparted to me and the wonderful stories he told me of life "in the early days" of Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice.
