George KennethMELLORof Tannerbank, Helmshore, died on Friday, December 20, at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 78. Ken, father of the late Ricky, leaves his wife Mary, daughters Wendy, Barbara and Lynne and sons-in-law Barry, Nigel and Andrew, grandchildren Kay, Clare, Laura, Daniel and Joshua, great-grandchildren Dillon, Connor and Logan and nieces and nephews. Ken was a self-employed electrician and builder and in his spare time, he enjoyed repairing watches and clocks. His funeral took place on Friday, January 10 with a service at the Pleasant Street Chapel of Rest followed by interment at Haslingden Cemetery.
