MichaelMEAKIN('FLASH') (April, 18th 2023) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of Nantwich's true legends Flash Meakin, who sadly passed away aged 80 years. Flash will be very sadly missed by all his family, friends, neighbours and the whole Nantwich community. Funeral service will take place at St Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Pillory Street, Nantwich on Saturday 13th May 2023 at 12 noon, followed by burial in Whitehouse Lane Cemetery, Nantwich. The funeral cortege will leave Flash's home on Gerard Drive at approximately 11am, you are more than welcome to walk the journey to church alongside Flash. The route the cortege will be travelling is: From Gerard Drive Millfields onto Queens Drive. Queens Drive onto Welsh Row. To the traffic light junction - Turn right onto Waterlode. along Waterlode to arrive at St Anne's Roman Catholic Church. You are more than welcome to line the route as detailed above should you wish. Family flowers only please with donations being gratefully received for Chance Changing Lives (Local Homeless Charity).
