Freda HunterMCNIECE(Washington) Peacefully in hospital on 10th September 2024, aged 85 years.

Freda, beloved wife of the late George. Devoted Mam of Gordon, Lynda, Lorraine and Neil. Much loved mother in law of Lesley, Ged, Paul and Karen. Well loved Grandmother of her many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Friends please meet for service at Saltwell Crematorium on Thursday 26th September at 12noon. Donations to The Bede Unit at The QE Hospital would be greatly appreciated in Freda's memory.

Everyone welcome afterwards at The Wessington to continue the celebration of Freda's life.

Thank you Groma, thank you for the summers I spent when I was young. Thank you for never messing your words with us and always your interest in how your great grandchildren were getting on, and also our family pets!!! I will miss taking you out to Shields for Fish and Chips when I was up, and will always remember 'getting wrong' for trying to stroke your Yorkshire terrier Tina!! We will celebrate you tomorrow and I'm sure you and Grandad George will be watching over with both of your infections laughs together. One of my favorite places to be was in the spare room in Rickleton, but not when Grandad George used to cook his kippers!!! God Bless. Xxx

Mam, I’ll miss our daily chats, shopping trips, fish & chips finished off with an ice cream at the beach when a came up for a visit, Back with dad now
