Passed away in Hexham Hospital on Tuesday 12th November 2024, aged 80.
Beloved husband of the late Christine, Dad to Lucie and John, Grandad to Noah and Dulcie,
Brother-in-law to David and Father-in-law to Joanne.
Dearly loved and missed by his family and friends across Durham and Northumberland.
A private family cremation is planned.
A local tree planting to be planned in the New Year will celebrate John's lifelong love of nature.
