Sandy, dearly loved husband of Lynda, dearest dad of Simon and Matthew, loving father in law of Keldine and adored grandad of Jamie. Would family and friends please meet for service at West Road Crematorium on Wednesday 4th January at 11am. Family flowers only by request. I worked with Sandy from 1987-1990 and we kept in touch for a while after that. Great man, funny and generous. I’ve fond memories of being his scrub nurse. He used to call me his proper nurse, because I qualified whilst working for him. Thoughts and paraders are with the family.

Sandy was a lovely man and well respected by all at Ponteland Golf Club. He continued to play golf and always had a word of encourement for others.
