The obituary notice of David MCGUINNESS

My sincerest sympathy and condolences to the family of Dave. I had hoped to attend the funeral but was unable to. I have very fond memories of working with Dave at Upton Priory Junior School. I also have great memories when I was at BLOG whether he was compering, in the chorus or doing a double-act with Peter Mannion. I also experienced his Panto Dame shows at the Majestic. Most of all he was a lovely, warm friendly man who always had time to chat and always had a smile and a lugh. Thank you for the memories, Dave.

was our teacher
a man who would try to teach us to swim play football cricket sing or even wear a dress 👗 and learn in his unique way. In later life he inspired my Nephews Matthew and James and my lovely neice Jess . When we met up for Christmas 🎄 or birthdays just on visits to to Linda Adrian and the kids he and Olga were always always happy full of fun he would have a harmless joke or sing to us all . You will be missed Mr McGuinness xx

R I.P Sir you were my favourite teacher at infant school at Broken Cross. The Heavens have a gained another Angel.
Remember stars are little peep holes in the floor of Heaven so you can watch your love ones from above.

My darling David, you have left a huge hole in my life and my heart. Thank you for sharing your life with me and making me part of your beautiful family. Rest easy my love until we meet again.
