You were not just a lovely Father in Law, you were my dad. Our family meant the world to you. And you meant the world to us. You gave us all so much love and wonderful memories, and you will be remembered with more love and memories. You will never be forgotten and will be missed in everything we do. Thank you for all your years of support and guidance. Love you Grandad xxx

It was lovely to be a part of your life if only for a few years, you were always wonderful to be around and could light up the room with your singing and stories, you are missed greatly

He always ushered me to pursue the extra curricular - to develop a number of passions - music and a litany of sport being a few of the many he helped to inspire. I now carry this attitude well into my adult life. The messenger may now not be here - but the messages will remain. Many are fortunate to have met him as an acquaintance or as a friend; I am beyond lucky to refer to him as 'Granddad'.

As classic a grandad as anyone could ask for. Never going to forget the theatre trips, ice cream farm, and the endless cups of teas and biscuits. Love you grandad, gonna have a cuppa on you xx
