Patrick MichaelMCGARRYPassed away peacefully on Friday 21st May 2021, aged 90 years. Beloved husband to Margaret, devoted father to Elizabeth, Catherine and Ian, father in law to Jon and Rachel, brother to Graham, Eileen and the late Dennis, a loving grandad and great-grandad. Pat was a former shop keeper and a parish and district councillor. He was a great friend to many and a community champion, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A private funeral service will take place at St Thomas' Roman Catholic Church, Tean on Friday 4th June 2021 at 1pm. Due to the current restrictions admission to the church is invite only. If you would like to pay your respects to Pat on his final Journey, the cortège will be leaving Aintree Road at 12.30pm and will be passing through the High Street at approximately 12.45pm. Family flowers only please but your kind donations in lieu may be addressed to Admiral Nurse Service at The Douglas Macmillan Hospice or Moorlands Home Link.
