RobertMCDOUGALL(Blakelaw) On Tuesday 25th July 2023 with his loved ones aged 77 years. Beloved husband of the late Pam. Much loved dad of Scott, Jayne and Alex. Also a loving Father in law, grandad and great grandad. Would all please meet for funeral service at West Road Crematorium on Wednesday 2nd August at 12.30pm. No flowers by request but donations gratefully received on behalf of The Alzheimer's Society a collection box will be available following the service. All welcome afterwards to The Denton. Our DAD Kept A Garden

He turned us to the sunshine,
And encouraged us to dream:
Fostering and nurturing
The seeds of self-esteem.

And when the winds & rain came,
He protected us enough;
But not too much because he knew
We would stand up strong and have to be tough.

His constant good example,
Always taught us right from wrong; Markers for our pathway that will last a lifetime long.
We are our Dad's garden,
We are his legacy.
Thank you Dad for all the love you gave.

From my youth days uncle McDougal was always the patriarch in his family. He was always the uncle who never judged me, he will always be in my memories as my uncle McDougal not Rob will be missed by his family xx

Robert, my big brother I will miss you and although we had lost touch, I have my memories of us all growing up in Holly Street. Tough times, but we all survived to nurture and grow. You are at peace now sleep tight. Love, your sister Pauline. Xxx
