Philip BernardMCCAFFREYIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Philip Bernard McCaffrey, who passed away peacefully at his home in Cyncoed, Cardiff, on Monday, 24th February 2025. Originally from Killaculla, Tempo, Co. Fermanagh, Philip was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Loving husband of the late Lena, devoted father to Caroline, Sam, Kelley, and Philippa, and father-in-law to Elton and Andy. A cherished grandfather to Alana, Lily, Maisie, Ruby, Betsy, and Stanley. Dearly loved brother of Kathleen, Brian, Annie, Mary, Eugene and Finton. Predeceased by his beloved parents, Owen and Mary McCaffrey.
Philip's family home will be open to family and friends from 5:30 pm on Tuesday, 11th March 2025, ahead of his Requiem Mass at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Cyncoed Road, on Wednesday, 12th March at 1:30 pm. This will be followed by the committal at Thornhill Crematorium (Briwnant Chapel) at 3:00 pm and a reception at The New House Country Hotel.
